How to use the magic of light in wedding portraits, wherever you are
Is it possible to take a portrait in an ordinary place, far from sunny Croatia and without studio lighting?
I’m sure it is! In journalistic photography, I took 99% of my portraits without any preparation, often during dynamic and short moments.
In wedding photography, portrait isn’t any easier. The stunning places, the expanses of the ocean or the unusual colors of Morocco are undoubtedly a beautiful and natural studio that adds atmosphere to the photos.
However, even the best background will not save a nondescript portrait in which there is no emotion at all. Or there is no magic of light.
Let's see how it looked in backstage
As you can see, the place is not very beautiful. It was somewhere in Berlin (I don’t remember exactly where) on the way to the place where the charming Shireen and Goran wanted to take a photo.
All I could say when I asked Shireen and Goran to stand against the wall, believe me, it’ll be fine 🙂
